Favorite places in Europe I’ve traveled so far

Since I’ve been abroad I’ve been fortunate enough to travel around much of Europe. I thought my first main travel post would be an overview of where I’ve been, what I thought of each place, and where I’m going. Then I thought I’d open it up to you to see what you want to hear more about! Whether it’s how I pack for travel, how I travel while studying for school, or itineraries and tips for individual places, I want to hear all of your questions.

Favorite places in Europe:

London, England— so much to do, so much culture to soak in, and, you can make it as inexpensive or luxurious as you want! (I’ve been twice now, once with family and once on my own and I have two more trips planned in the next month)

Paris, France— it seems cliche to have these two cities at the top of my list but they’re worth the hype! I like to say Paris is for Washington, D.C. lovers and London is for New York City lovers because in some ways they feel a lot like those U. S. Counterparts... of course with a lot more history, culture, and beauty though. I feel like the amount of cute neighborhoods in Paris is endless, there are always quaint streets to wander and great coffee to drink. I’ve been with my family and I have a trip planned to go with friends in the spring.

Prague, Czech Republic— I’ve heard this city called the Paris of Eastern Europe and I could not think of a more true statement. But, the huge difference to Paris is that it is so inexpensive! Perfect for a college students budget and so many museums, cobbled streets, and castles to keep you entertained for days.

Florence, Italy— Florence is such a unique place and in summer it is so nice to experience it under the famous Tuscan Sun (unless you don’t like scorching heat then maybe try another season).

Barcelona, Spain— there’s a reason Ed Sheeran wrote a whole song about it. It is such a fantastic city, with all the perks of a big city (the amazing food markets being the best one) but the unique aspect of being right on he Mediterranean Sea. I went a couple of years ago with my grandparents and have been dying to go again ever since.

Geneva, Switzerland— Geneva wasn’t at the top of my travel bucket list but ended up being the first trip I took back in September because the flights were so cheap. Unfortunately, the affordability stops there. However, it was such a beautiful city and there are so many amazing towns you can reach easily from Geneva, and the United Nations headquarters is a must do!
